4 years are approaching and your birthday has passed. I strongly believe that i get my stubborn ways from you lol. ..I guess i tried to not look at the calendar so i wouldn't have to deal with the pain of a day that would've made another year of you here on earth. I know people say that as time passes...it get easier ...but it's gotten harder man...i've fallen apart. But i won't let that stop me. My last year of highschool is approaching and i gotta make you proud....you always told me to strive higher than average. and that's what i did for real..if only you were here to see my report card. You were somehow my motivation to end the junior school year with a 3.8 GPA. I'll always remember how important my education was to you.

thought of the day, it's been hard. 3 years doesn't seem like such a long time but it can still rip the heart in half. The heart is able to put it's self back together and accept but it will never gain back it's structure. endure...i have to endure.

Mannix, Profound as it my be,and without even knowing it, you accomplished your purpose! The one most important to you. You brought your family and loved ones together, let us all keep this fire burning a priority in honor of you. I thank you that I have had the opportunity to come to know your children. Now being able to think of them and put a face to their names , to love them and get to know them as my cherished grand babies. Also to get to know the women that you choose to gave them life, Twanna! their mother. To reconnect with your brothers Cleven Jr and Roy and their families. And also Dor, what a friend you had in her,such a kind and caring person, I thank you for the bonds she and I have made and its all because of YOU!!!

As September 25th rolls around I still can't believe it! Little did we know that morning, God was going to call your name Mannix. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to loose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Until then enjoy the blue skies.

My last breakfast with him was at Velours in Hyde Park July 16, 2011 where he told everybody I was a republican and that President Obama put this place on the map and that this was a democrat joint and although I didn’t belong there he still loved me! Can you believe this man? I mean everybody in this joint was looking at me really funny. Yes he had a way of putting you on the spot! Will miss that a lot.

I remembered Nick as being a very caring and intelligent man. I met him when I was 15yrs old and married him 5 yrs later.. I want to give thanks to Nick for showing me the meaning of love and giving me 5 wonderful kids that will be exactly what he'd hope they would be. Thanks for being my husband. My daddy was a good person very supportive very smart..he's the only reason i passed the u.s constitution.i miss him alot..iregret being mad at him and taking his presents for granted.he will be missed alot by us all and we will see him again eventually. the song 'one sweet day' expresses my feelings and thoughts about him.
